Research: Previous students' ancillary products

In today's lesson, we looked at previous students' ancillary products, analysed them against the mark scheme and give them a score out of 20 (10 for advertisement, 10 for digipak). What I liked about Group 28's was that:
  • the photos were clear and not stretched
  • the text suits the pop genre
  • all the important and relevant information is there
  • the synergy is there between the advert, digipak and video
There wasn't much that I didn't like about it other than the photo of the girl goes across the two front panels, but I think that's just being picky!

Overall, I gave it a 17/20 (9 for digipak, 8 for advertisement), but it turns out Group 28 got 18/19!
